On the top of the mastaba. In digging two holes to expose the rock. Limestone debris, dubsh and red debris. Exposed the rock for drawing.

G 2196 D: Removed chamber I roof. Dubsh, stones and mud bound. Body. Head on north. Scattered bones. Left for photo. Chamber II not exposed.

G 2196 G: Removed the body from chamber I. Total depth 2.75 meters. Dubsh and white limestone debris. Chamber II appears on south. Cut in rock. Blocked with two stones, some dubsh and bound with mud. Reached the rock in shaft. Blocking left for photo.

G 2196 H: Removed chamber I roof. Three stones and mud bound. Body. Head on north. Left for photo.

G 2196 I: Removed chamber I blocking. Two stones (broken). Body, head on north. Covered with some decayed cloth. Left for photo. Chamber II not exposed.

(2) G 2385
G 2385 X: In shaft and chamber. It is south of the sloping passage of the rock-cut tomb G 2385 A. North of the sloping passage of the rock-cut tomb G 2370 A. lined with dubsh above. Some building gone on east and rock below. The shaft bound with gypsum. Total depth 2.15 meters. Limestone debris, black debris and potsherds. The shaft was covered above with one big stone, we removed. Chamber on west. Cut in rock. No blocking. All the chamber bound with gypsum, same as a coffin. Also underneath the roof bound with gyps, we found model offering dish fixed with gypsum. Found in shaft debris: broken model offering dishes and potsherds, some model offering small dishes and cups. The gypsum and the dish left for photo.

G 2188 D: In the shaft. It is south of Y, east of X and underneath the building of shaft C. Small shaft. Lined with stones. Total depth 95 cm. Limestone debris, dubsh and stones fallen from C. Ended at rock. No chamber.

(2) G 2378
In the magazine which is south of the serdab of the room and west of the room, to expose the rock on the floor to take the height of the rock for drawing. Mud floor and underneath white limestone debris. Expose the rock in the magazine.

(3) G 2381, G 2347 [= G 5562]
Digging three holes on the top of the mastaba, and search for the building of the shaft X of G 2347, to expose the rock, to take the height of the rock. Sand, limestone debris, dubsh and black debris. Exposed the rock in the three holes and expose the building of the shaft X of G 2347 [= G 5562].

Mrs. Reisner and Mary arrived from Greece.
