G 2337 V: In shaft. Lined with stones, dubsh and mud brick. It is small shaft. It is in the southeast corner and south of W. Total depth 2.8 meters. Limestone debris, black debris and dubsh. Chamber appears on east lined with mud brick, dubsh and roofed with four stones. No blocking. Found in shaft debris: broken R.P. [red polished?] dish; small basin (limestone) small faience amulet. Reached the rock in shaft. Not reached the chamber.

G 2347 C [= G 5551 C]: In shaft and chamber. Total depth 3.95 meters. Limestone debris, dubsh, black debris and broken mud brick. Found in chamber debris: head and some bones of a body. The rock of the shaft is bad, on north. We see dubsh inside the rock and also limestone debris. It looks to us that the shaft was broken into another chamber on north. Cleared. Drawing.

G 2349 F [= G 5530 F]: In shaft. Lined with mud brick and dubsh. It was under shaft C building. It is south of E. Total depth 90 cm. Limestone debris, some dubsh and some potsherds. Ended at rock. No chamber.

(7) G 2371
G 2371 W: In shaft. It is in the southeast corner of the mastaba and east of G 2339 B. Lined with mud brick and rock below. Total depth 2.75 meters. White limestone debris. Chamber hand on rock. It is on south lined with dubsh. Roofed with five stones. No blocking. Open and empty. Drawing of the shaft on page 137.

Dahi left to Alexandria and afterwards will go to the Sudan with Mr. Kirwan (OXFORD EXPEDITION).
