G 5243 D: In shaft. Lined with rubble. Ends at rock. It is west of B and north of C. Total depth 1.05 meters. Sand, dirty debris and limestone debris. Ends at rock. No chamber. type 7 X.

G 5243 E: In shaft and chamber. Lined with rubble. Ends at rock. It is west of C. Total depth 1.35 meters. Sand, limestone debris, dirty debris and rubble. Chamber on north. Built of crude brick, roof gone. No blocking. Cleared. Drawing.

G 5243 X: In shaft and chamber. Lined above with crude brick and cut in rock below. It is north of the mastaba, north of shafts B and C. Total depth 2.6 meters. Dirty debris, limestone debris, rubble and stones. Chamber on east. Cut in rock. No blocking. Found in shaft debris: an inscribed limestone fragment perhaps from the chapel (stone showing figure holding sticks on a boat, (a boating scene)). Now left on top of shaft. Cleared. Drawing.

In cleaning west of G 2430, for a railway line running to west and then turned to the north, east of the old dump. Search for new mastaba and shafts in that place.

A stone mastaba. North of G 5220 and west of G 5227 a, with an uninscribed chapel opened on east. In the chapel two shaft X, Y. The mastaba consists of six shafts A, B, C, X, Y, Z. Sketch of the mastaba and G 5227 on page 864.

G 5227 A: In shaft and chamber. Lined with crude brick topped with a little part of rubble. Ends at rock. It is north of B. Total depth 1.3 meters. Dirty debris, limestone debris and rubble. Chamber on east. Built of crude brick. Roof destroyed. No blocking. Found in shaft debris: well cut limestone mace head (fragment of) cleared. Drawing.
