Remarks: In the 1912 excavation season, Reisner called this mastaba e. This mastaba was subsequently called G 2200 until it was definitively called G 5080. In his unpublished manuscript for The History of the Giza Necropolis II, Appendix A: Cemetery en Échelon, page 18, George A. Reisner mentions finding the upper part of a stela (accession number MFA 12.1393) in G 5082. No other references to G 5082 have been found to date. It is either an otherwise unrecorded tomb between G 5080 and G 2180, or G 5082 is new number he planned on renaming one of the smaller tombs found there. Shaft Z, an otherwise unrecorded pit, is mentioned on diary pages (Vol.26.p.1238 and Vol.26.p.1239). It is located in the street west of G 5080, probably just west of shaft B (i.e. the southern half of the tomb).
